Two Tones Tied Together

Block color styling was in about two years ago as a way to keep you thinking items go in and out of favor (no longer "on trend"...a term we despise). Block colors are a staple of styling because many women won't venture beyond two colors in any outfit....if they match, then most are comfortable. The key to not looking cut in half however (thus increasing your visual weight) is to pull one color into another creating a visual line that lengthens the body instead. Our blouse does just that with hand printed fabric panels by Art of Cloth. The small ruffles pull the eye side to side up high on the body, slimming the torso.  Bold jewel tones of equal saturation also help to pull the look together.
